The original idea I had of showcasing celebrity art for the wider public for the benefit of local charities could not have been made possible without the collaboration of Christian Furr the well known London based Merseyside born artist. I thank Christian for making Liverpool Love what it is today. I would like to say a big thank you for bringing together the most prominent artists of our decade for this worthy cause. Between us we have created this event as a joint venture and something we could take into the future, as we both feel we have created a unique art exhibition that Liverpool can be proud of.
I have chosen Claire House Children’s Hospice as our charity for which we hope to raise a substantial amount of money through our auction on the 17th November. I would like to thank Helen Carlson the Liverpool Area Manager for Claire House for her cooperation and professionalism for the forthcoming Liverpool Gala Night on Saturday 17th November 2012.
To the directors and staff at the Museum of Liverpool Thank you for the time you have given us and effort you have put in, together with your expertise in guiding us through the process of having a major exhibition in such a prestigious 21st century museum.
Finally I would like to thank all our sponsors who have been extremely supportive and generous together with all our associate partners who have often pulled strings and worked ‘gratis’ to make this happen, generous indeed.
We hope everyone will be as excited as we are as the countdown begins for Liverpool Love’s Celebrity Art Exhibition Gala night.
We look forward to seeing you all on the night.
