‘Liverpool Love’ jointly conceived by Vaughan Davies and Christian Furr (Curator)-
is a partnership to showcase Art and support charity.
The exhibition is hosted this year at the Liverpool World Museum and is part of the new Liverpool Contemporary Art Fair in support of Alder Hey Charity.

Preview VIP launch of Liverpool Contemporary Art Fair, on 3rd July at 6pm at the Liverpool World Museum. BBC News Presenter Louise Minchin will be opening the event, along with other VIPs and dignitaries.
The UK’s new Modern Art Fair will be taking place 3-6 July at the World Museum. It will be the biggest Art show in Liverpool with over 50 national galleries and 1,000 pieces of artwork on exhibit to view and buy; visual art, photography, sculpture, ceramics and glass. Highlights include a world exclusive collection of original paintings and drawings by Nelson Mandela – The Long Road to Freedom Exhibition. Visitors can also enjoy a celebrity art exhibition curated by Liverpool Love, with original art from Stuart Sutcliffe, Yoko Ono, and Noel Fielding.

On the evening you will have the chance to support Alder Hey by bidding for a portrait gifted to the charity by Christian Furr, the youngest artist to have ever officially painted Queen Elizabeth II and winner of the AoC Gold Award, House of Commons. Christian visited Alder Hey as a child and is keen to offer his support to Alder Hey. Throughout the evening you will be given the opportunity to place a bid through a silent auction to take home this prize.
History
The inaugural exhibition of Liverpool Love in 2012 was at the new Museum of Liverpool on the historic riverfront.
It was a unique Art exhibtion celebrating the city of Liverpool through the artistic interpretatons of some of the worlds leading artists who have a connection with the city. Several of the artists had a musical connection.
It helped to see the biggest increase in footfall to any museum outside of London.
